Argyle Heights

Argyle Heights Homes – Fredericksburg, VA Community

An established neighborhood with beautiful homes, Argyle Heights combines low key style with family centered community in an ideal location right across the Rappahannock River in South Stafford.  With entrances from Ferry Road and Kings Hwy., residents of this close knit neighborhood enjoy quick access to the major roads of the Fredericksburg area including Rt 3, Rt 218, Rt 1 and I-95 as well as the VRE for a quick commute to Northern Virginia or Richmond.  Argyle Heights in particular has the quickest commute to King George and Dahlgren , to which residents can get to in a ‘traffic-less’ 20-25 minute ride.

Downtown charm is only a few lights away, as Argyle Heights sits just east of Historic Downtown Fredericksburg.  This beautiful neighborhood enjoys the benefits the rich historic culture and year round community events like Oktoberfest and the Farmers Market that abound in downtown Fredericksburg. The heart of our town has wonderful shops and restaurants on the main streets of Caroline Street and William Street, like Lydia’s Monogram Gifts, La Petite Auberge Fine Dining, Bistro Bethem, Hyperion Coffee, Ulman’s Jewelry, Jabberwocky Children’s Books and Toys, J. Brian’s Tap Room, the Mock Turtle Children’s Store, Capital Ale House, the Kenmore Inn, the Bavarian Chef, among many other places to shop or wine and dine!  Don’t forget to stop by Castiglias Italian Restaurant to try their famous brick oven pizza!

Residents of Argyle Heights attend local churches like Ferry Farm Baptist Church around the corner (great pre-school), St. George’s Episcopal Church in downtown and St. Mary Catholic Church, among others.

For families with young children, Argyle Heights residents have a great elementary school in the adjacent neighborhood.  Ferry Farm Elementary School is not only one of the best in Stafford, but is also a safe bike-ride away.  What a great way to start the day off with your children, no?  This neighborhood is very family friendly and is spaced out enough for a 2-3 mile morning jog around the lake, and yet it is ‘small’ enough to let your children ride their bikes around the block.  In all, Argyle Heights combines low-key comfort, convenience, a great location for commuters, and an ideal neighborhood to raise a family.
